Sri Lanka will look to level the series as it faces New Zealand for the 3rd and final ODI of the 3-match event on Friday. New Zealand won the opening game by a huge margin of 198 runs,
while the second match was washed out due to heavy rains at Christchurch. Sri Lanka will have to put their best foot forward if they want to win here.

New Zealand will be delighted with their performance in the opening match, and the break would have served them well as they look to emulate their performance at Hamilton too.

Sri Lanka was completely outplayed in the opening match played at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday. While the bowlers did a decent job on a good batting wicket,
it was the batsmen who let them down. Just 3 batsmen managed to reach double figures against a lethal pace attack of the hosts as Sri Lanka was bundled out for just 76 runs in under 20 overs,
making this their lowest total ever against New Zealand.

Pitch Report
The pitch at Seddon Park is quite well-balanced, offering equal opportunities to the bowlers as well as the batsmen. The bounce is good allowing the batsmen to play their shots with ease,
while there are plenty of green patches on the pitch, which allows the quicker bowlers to get some swing and movement off the pitch too. The spinners will however struggle here.

Anything over 250 will be tricky to chase.
